This is the part of the year wherein I type out whatever that comes out of my head; it is an accumulation of all my lingering thoughts these days as the year comes to a close.

I realized I should have written about this earlier. I only remembered when my friend messaged me to let me know that she was in Saigon and that she was staying at the hostel my friend and I stayed at. I suddenly just remembered this egg coffee shop, and totally recommended for her to go try it out.

Growth takes time, and developing firm habits is important in ensuring that we grow. As I am always stuck in traffic whether going to the office or going home, I always think about the instances wherein, Hey, I'm a bit different now, but in a good way that I like myself to become.

I have this habit of posting late, or posting everything after it's all done. I even write about some things that have happened way way back. And I think that's okay. I like having time to ruminate. As much as I want to capture special moments in my life, the sharing part can wait. Or sometimes I don't even need to share it. I guess that's why I suck at updating social media sometimes.

It was through a Youtube video that I learned of the term "Small But Certain Happiness".

I then searched on Google to find out where exactly it came from. It turns out the first mention of it was from Haruki Murakami's essay: "Afternoon in the Islets of Langerhans". I can't find a copy online however, and I don't know if it was translated into English, but the idea is appealing to me.

I'm sharing my notes from when I attempted to go to the postal office twice this month. I purchased a bright yellow sweater online and I received a notice for me to pick it up.

I spent the weekend with my high school friends in Cagbalete Island, Quezon province. One thing for sure is that I was determined to soak all the nature up. To lose my sense of time, and just be.

After spending some time in the 14 Ton That Dam Cafe Apartment, we decided to check out the more famous Cafe Apartment found along Nguyen Hue Walking Street. It's another building filled with coffee shops and boutiques once again, although now it's pretty out there for everyone to see.

It's Sunday right now, and the rain's pouring outside. It's been a while since I last just sat down and enjoyed listening to the rain. This month has just been so busy, but I will reserve another lengthy post for that. For now though, I wanted to share some things I've been loving recently.

I went to Saigon with my good friend/roommate last April! We didn't have anything specific for our first day, so we decided to just walk around the city to get a feel of what a day in the life of a local in Saigon feels like.

3 months in to the year and I am already tired. There's no sugar coating it, but indeed it has already manifested physically, through back pains and astigmatism.

Oxford reminded me a bit of Bath, because of its colors. We were well into summer now though, so it was bright and sunny for the most part!

WALK WITH ME: One Morning in York, England

Wednesday, March 6, 2019

Hello! It's already the middle of the week. I hope you're doing well, and I encourage you to fight on♡ Put on your battle armor, whatever it may be: it could be your sun screen, your favorite trousers, or your trusty shoes, and go forth!

If you've been following along my long long England series, you must know by now how museums were a big part of this trip. I've just never been to so many museums in my life, so while in the UK, I might as well take a look around and appreciate the available wealth of knowledge and history.

Ice cream and Sunshine may just be what I needed.

So much has happened already this year, and I can only get even more excited for the things to come. It's Saturday, and it's lunch time. I had 11 hours of sleep last night. I don't really have any agenda today, so I'm finally able to breathe and have a good think through session through writing to you.

*Disclaimer: I started writing this last Saturday and only got to continue and finish it today!
