It rained the whole day. I somehow felt antsy, seeing how the grass was already submerged in water making the garden look much like a swamp... but then indeed the Lord is sovereign. I jumped for joy as I was mopping and my dear friend Arbi told me that it stopped raining. Then he took this beautiful picture of the sky slowly clearing up and I saw the dark clouds floating away, and I could see a little bit of the blue sky.
Ayala Museum had an event last weekend called Inspire Everyday. The entrance to the museum was free, and there were pocket events that were ongoing throughout the day. I took this opportunity to learn how to commute to Makati and to be inspired through other people's art. I also got to see artworks that I've seen when I first went there!!
To enter the museum, we had to sign up for volunteer opportunities, so we left our contact details. I sure do hope to hear from them soon! I love such opportunities.

One of the things I missed the most about traveling in California would be the mountain ranges that are visible from my left to right. I would see dry mountain ranges and hills and Joshua trees and cacti of different kinds and it's just so nice to be surrounded by those.

So much has happened in this trip, but when I got back home, I could truly say that I was genuinely happy. It was my first time for many things; camping, cooking food, trekking to the waterfalls, etc. I also got to meet such wonderful people. I loved the beach as well, it was shallow and the waves were strong and it felt great when it came crashing on our bodies.

When I saw these amazing rock structures, I could not help but be struck with so much awe and gladness. Despite the scorching heat, it was still quite cold because of the continuous breeze that blew throughout our stay there. Seeing this vast scene made me feel so small in this earth, and I kind of like that feeling.

I was able to go inside a flower shop one morning in Oxnard, California. My day started out pleasantly as I was surrounded by so many kinds of flowers that I have not seen before. I wanted to buy some and bring them home, but I doubt that they would be able to take on the heat here in Manila. My goal someday is to be able to have my own garden wherein I can plant many different kinds of flowers and breed succulents.
