Wearing Nature with Gilda's Story Accessories

This was the year I started wearing earrings more often. I personally think earrings are the best kind of accessories to wear because they're often the first thing people see as compared to rings and bracelets. Necklaces, yes, but people will always look at your face.

I was delighted to know about a new online shop my colleague from work introduced to us, which is called Gilda's Story. Their craft is to preserve nature by making them into wearable accessories, such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, and the like.


Everything is handmade and can be personalized. You get to choose which kind of flower / leaf you want for your accessory, or you can just simply purchase what they have on display. They have a variety of flora to choose from, although it depends if they're available considering that seasons change. Gilda's Story is currently based in Germany.

I had the chance to be included in their first batch of orders! I love flowers, and I believe that there's no such thing as too much flowers really. I found this to be a unique idea, as I've yet to encounter businesses like this one here in the Philippines.

My first order came to me after a month. I didn't mind the long waiting time to be honest, because this was their first time to ship them out, and I wasn't really in a hurry. Philippines after all is all the way around the other side of the earth; I can attest to it! I can imagine though, that it must be faster if you're living in Europe. :)

Lo and behold, it arrived through this dainty lilac packaging. Please don't mind how the silver ribbon was tied; I was the one who tied it back again so I can take another photo haha! 

Inside is a card of sorts with their logo on it. It's got a quaint overall feel to it.

Here they are! So lovely. It's the Red Dill blooms stud earrings in stainless steel gold. They come in different colors; it's all featured on their Instagram page:

Then here's me wearing it! I believe this can accentuate your overall look. You won't have a hard time matching it with your outfits. It's simply lovely; I can see myself wearing this for any occasion.
