The V&A is known to be the leading museum of art and design. This place was named after Queen Victoria and Prince Albert back in 1852, and they saw this as an effort to promote and educate everyone, regardless of race or class, about art and design through the museum collections. One can find artifacts here across all continents, from both the ancient times until the present day.

It's not Saturday today, but I just wanted to share and recount how last Saturday went. This day was supposedly a thrifting date only, but my colleague and I decided to squeeze in some time to eat first, and we decided that it was going to be at the Salcedo Saturday Market, since it was a Saturday.

I've always been fascinated by plants, mainly because we have a garden beside my house. It's where my dad grows a variety of vegetables, such as okra, malunggay, sweet potato, and more.  I'm no botanist or plant expert, but I really did enjoy seeing so many different kinds when I visited Kew's greenhouses. It made me appreciate their great design and purpose.

It's definitely a good idea to visit gardens during the summer because this is the time when you can appreciate the many flowers that are in full bloom.

Saw some of the iconic places in London, namely Big Ben and London Eye (from a distance). We came at the time when the Elizabeth Tower, which houses the clock tower, and parts of the Houses of Parliament were under conservation works.

I honestly liked a lot of paintings here in the gallery. I like to think that seeing all these paintings is like peering in to the hearts and minds of these painters, too.
